Vincent Tong (May 2, 1980) is a Canadian voice actor of Chinese descent. He is the current voice of Huckleberry Pie, and is the first person of color to voice the character.
Biography[]
Vincent Tong was born on May 2nd, 1980, in Vancouver, British Colombia.
Vincent first began doing acting work in relatively minor roles, as a background dancer in "Bollywood/Hollywood" and "The Music Man (2003)", and a deliveryboy in Billy Ray Cyrus' medical drama "Doc".
Around 2006, Vincent began a career as a voice actor, once again in relatively small roles in anime dubs, as additional voices in "Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG - Individual Eleven" and a Pepper Monster in "Powerpuff Girls Z". His first major role came in "Death Note" where he played Touta Matsuda. He has since gone on to voice act in many different works, such as Kai (Ninjago), Tidus (Elves), Jestro (Nexo Knights), Dr. Wu (Jurassic World) and Logan (Dreamzzz) in various LEGO animated series, Daniel in "Voltron Force", Henry Chan in "Kid vs Kat", The Mandarin in "Iron Man: Armored Adventures", Sogo Okita in "Gintama", Mephisto in "Lolirock", Aki Light/Mega Man in "Mega Man: Fully Charged", Drac in "Super Monsters", Eugene Wong in "How to Train Your Dragon: The Nine Realms", Nicholas in "Polly Pocket (2018)", and Flash Sentry and Sandbar in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".
In 2021, Vincent Tong would become the voice of Huckleberry Pie in Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City.
