Berry Inaccurate Picture[]
The Strawberry Shortcake Throughout the Years picture is inaccurate. The Kenner line started in 1979, before the 1980s. The Playmates Toys line began in 2006, not 2005, and there shouldn't be two pictures for the same period since they simply are pictures of Strawberry in different outfits. Lastly, the last picture says "The Bridge Direct" and 2017, but it's 2018 and that new Strawberry Shortcake hasn't been released. Plus, The Bridge Direct is now called Basic Fun Toys, and they took over the SSC toy line before 2017 (though it was still part of the Berry Bitty Adventures series).

Strawberry didn't even exist in 1979! It didn't exist until 1980. Nature cat 1998 (talk) 23:37, March 19, 2018 (UTC)
That is not true. Kenner produced the first five "flat hands" dolls in 1979, including Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Apple Dumplin', Huckleberry Pie, and the Purple Pieman.

You are a Lier. Next you'll be saying there was a rare doll line from 1964. Nature cat 1998 (talk) 20:47, March 21, 2018 (UTC)
Naturecat1998, do your research.
Oh my gosh, you don't need to be so rude. And no, I am not "Lieing." These pages: http://www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/strawberryshortcake.php
http://thetoybox1138.blogspot.com/2009/02/look-back-at-great-80s-toys-part-9.html are just some of the MANY sources that show that the first five dolls were from 1979. Admit it, you are wrong.
