Tabitha St. Germain (formerly Paulina Gillis Germain) (October 30, 1964) is an American-Canadian voice actress and former stage/radio actress. She is the current voice of Raspberry Tart, Pupcake, Cheesecake Mouse, and Parfait Parrot.
Biography[]
Tabitha St. Germain was born on October 30th, 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts. Early in her childhood she moved to Africa, living in Eswatini (then known as Swaziland) and Lesotho before eventually moving to Canada. She started off as a (self-claimed terrible) waitress at a Halifax Keg restaurant, and eventually quit after a "Old Hollywood movie star" tipped her $200, believing her job had peaked at that moment.
After her brief stint in restaurant work, Tabitha found work in radio and theatre, performing in productions of "Anges of God", "Into The Woods", and "Hay Fever", and a Vancouver production of "The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine".
Sometime after, Tabitha shifted to voiceover work in Toronto under the name Paulina Gillis. Notable voice roles of hers from that time include Kootie Pie Koopa in the DiC "Super Mario Bros" cartoon, Spryte in DiC's "The Legend of Zelda" cartoon, Miss Demeanor in "C.O.P.S.", Ginger and Prudence in "Beetlejuice", and Swift Heart Rabbit in the original "Care Bears" cartoon
Around 1997, she would change her name to Tabitha St. Germain, and a year later Tabitha moved to Vancouver, where she would continue her career as a voice actor. She's provided the voice of Shana in Geneon's dub of "Shakugan no Shana", Alexis in "Transformers: Armada" and "Transformers: Energon", Pashmina in "Hamtaro", "The Scary Godmother" in her self-titled films, Jennifer Shope in "Super Noobs", Auriana in "Lolirock", Martha in "Martha Speaks", Cheer Bear in "Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot", Minty and Scootaloo in "My Little Pony (G3)", and her most famous roles as Rarity and Princess Luna in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".
In her personal life, Tabitha is an avid gardener, painter, and cat enthusiast. She also has her own website[1].
In 2021, Tabitha St. Germain became the voice of Raspberry Tart, Pupcake, Cheesecake, and Parfait in "Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City". In 2023, she would briefly take over the role of Sour Grapes from Meg Roe for "Strawberry Shortcake’s Perfect Holiday", though this was not a permanent change and Meg would continue voicing the character afterward.
