Super Berry is the eighth episode in airing order of the second season of Berry In The Big City. It premiered on August 6th, 2022.
Summary[]
Orange Blossom worships the superheroes in her comics – Strawberry Shortcake shows her that Orange is her very own hero.
Plot[]
Strawberry Shortcake approaches Orange Blossom, who is reading an issue of Tangerine Smash. When she is about to tell Orange her plans for today she gets shushed by her. Orange expresses her love for the latest issue of Tangerine Smash and Strawberry thinks that Orange is too into a comic book, which maddened Orange. She tells Strawberry how Tangerine Smash has inspired her for her whole life and Strawberry still doesn't get the comic's appeal. Then she talks about how being a superhero can make the world a better place and Strawberry tells her that they'll make the world a better place with the to do lists she made. This saddens Orange and she begrudgingly accepts the to do list.
Orange starts singing Super-Berry where she sings about wanting to become a superhero and wanting to help others in the city. She also imagines herself in scenarios where she is a superhero in a comic. Strawberry eventually sings with her and understands. Strawberry gets Orange to help others like getting a cat down a tree, getting toys stuck on a tree, helping a deliveryman replace his scooter tire and more.
Later we see Strawberry on her truck's garden reading the Tangerine Smash comics, Orange spots her and asks what she's doing. Strawberry tells her that she always says that she wants to bake the world a better place and she realizes that the two heroes in the comic do the same thing but with more action. Orange asks her if she likes comics and Strawberry says that because comics made her friend, referring to Orange, who she is it also made her friend "pretty super". Orange is excited to talk about Tangerine Smash with her friend also saying that she always wanted a sidekick, Strawberry tells her that she'll be her Guava Girl anytime. The episode ends with both of them talking about and reading Tangerine Smash.

- This is the second time since "Lucky Berry" where Orange mentions her favourite comic, Tangerine Smash.
- The black cat saved from being stuck on a tree is a retextured Custard.
- This episode features a very rare instance of non-slapstick physical violence in the franchise, with Strawberry and Orange (as Guava Girl and Tangerine Smash) beating up several criminals during the song.
