Shannon Chan-Kent (September 23, 1988) is a Canadian voice actress and singer of Chinese and Irish descent. She is the original voice of Cherry Jam and the current singing voice for Raspberry Tart, along with being one of the few returning actors in the franchise.

Shannon Chan-Kent was born on September 23rd, 1988, in Vancouver, Canada. She graduated from the University of British Colombia with a bachelor's and master's degree in Opera.
Shannon is a prolific voice actor in animation and anime, best known for voicing Misa Amane in "Death Note" and providing the singing vocals of Pinkie Pie "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". She has also voiced Amy Rose in "Sonic: Prime", The Biskit Twins in "Littlest Pet Shop (2012)", Larmina in "Voltron Force", Melusine in "Super Monsters", Tweazel in "Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot", Trixie in "Slugterra", Lila Draper in "Polly Pocket (2018)", and Smolder, Silver Spoon, Wallflower Blush, and Lemon Zest in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and "Equestria Girls."
Alongside being a voice actor, Shannon is a soprano singer and has performed with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra. She's been involved with stage productions out of Vancouver, such as the Arts Club Theatre Company production of "Avenue Q", and Vancouver Opera's production of "Evita". Shannon has also performed in live-action films, usually in minor roles or Hallmark movies.
In 2011, Shannon Chan-Kent became the voice of Cherry Jam in "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures", though ironically didn't provide Cherry's singing, with it instead being done by Victoria Duffield. They would be succeeded as the voice of Cherry Jam in 2023 by Aloma Steele.
In 2021, Shannon returned to the franchise as the singing voice for Raspberry Tart in "Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City", becoming the first woman of color to voice the character.
