Moonlight Mysteries is the fourth 45-minute compilation DVD special of Season 2 of the 2003 Series. It consists of the two episodes "Ginger Snap's No Light Night of Fright" and "The Blueberry Beast".
The special introduces Blueberry Muffin and her pet mouse Cheesecake to the cast.
Synopsis[]
One night in Strawberryland, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends set up a fireplace to share some very berry (but not too berry) scary stories. All of Strawberry's friends want the spookiest one of them all in the Remembering Book. Strawberry tells them about Ginger Snap and how brave she truly could be.
After the first story, the kids praise Ginger Snap's braveness. They ask Strawberry for something even scarier, so Strawberry tells them of The Blueberry Beast.
Angel Cake tells Strawberry that the story is great. Huckleberry Pie proclaims that he isn't scared despite how late it is; only to be interrupted by rustling bushes. The kids are afraid, but soon discover it's only Blueberry Muffin and Cheesecake, who discovered the campfire. The kids feel quite foolish but refuse to admit to Blueberry that they are a bit scared. They invite her to join them, while Strawberry tells the viewers that they can come back any time to hear some spooky tales.
