Lord of the Smores is the 11th episode in airing order of Season 3 of Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City. It premiered on September 16th, 2023.
Summary[]
With one marshmallow left in the campsite, berry turns against berry in a war to make the perfect last s’more.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Huck giving a very dramatic narration as Orange creates a smore. At the end he states that not every berry agrees with the best way to roast a smore, scaring Raspberry, Blueberry, and Lime. Orange pulls her marshmallow from the fire and says that the best way is charged outside and gooey inside. Lime disagrees and says instead the best marshmallow is warm golden brown. Both Lemon and Bread agree with Orange. Blueberry states that she prefers her marshmallows raw to prevent "marshmallow cruelty". Although she does like her chocolate super melty to which Sour Grapes agrees. Strawberry says that they have plenty of marshmallows and points to a whole mountain of marshmallow bags behind her. Another of Huck's dramatic narration plays as every berry grabs a marshmallow and attempts to roast it. Each of them fails either by the breaking of their sticks, the wind, or a rat. Strawberry assures everyone it's fine and points to the pile of marshmallow bags. Only for every berry to see a goat has eaten them all. Every sighs before Orange points out one last marshmallow on the ground. Huck narrates that berry turned on berry as the group each look each other in the eye. Strawberry tries to stop what's happening but is overwhelmed by them charging.
Orange is first to grab the marshmallow and seeing this Lime tries to pounce on her like a wild animal. Orange jumps away from her but Blueberry takes it from her and runs away. Strawberry asks what's going on, to which Huck responds in another dramatic narration. She asks if he's narrating what's going on and he responds saying that someone has to make sense of the chaos. Back at the "Battle", Leamon pulls out a transformer-like machine from her pocket to snag the marshmallow away from Blueberry. Using one of the robots' extendable arms she successfully retrieves the marshmallow before Sour Grapes grabs it. The machine falls over crashing to which Lemon replies that she can fix it. Sour Grapes takes one look at her angry friends and promptly tosses the marshmallow away from her. Bread and Raspberry both try and fail to grab it. Orange grabs it and is about to put it on the stick before being caught in Lemons net. The marshmallow rolls over to Strawberry and she picks it up. Bread is first to demand the marshmallow for The Army of the Burnt. Lime protests and says that the Golden Warm Fellowship deserves it more. Blueberry pops in and tries to convince everyone that no marshmallow needs to be hurt and that she and Sour Grapes will protect it. Strawberry looks over her options and Huck begins another dramatic narration. In this one he narrates that Strawberry knows what she has to do. Strawberry quickly runs over to the fire, dodging her friends, climbs the broken machine, and drops the marshmallow in the fire. Everyone watches horror and Raspberry lets out a cry of despair. Strawberry jumps from the machine and says the marshmallow was making them destroy each other and no desert is worth fighting over.
Huck he begins another narration before Bread interrupts telling him to stop. As he apologizes he notices that the entire time he was sitting on a bag of marshmallows. He holds it up for everyone to see and Strawberry says that now they can have smores. She questions where she puts the graham crackers and every berry looks over at the goat. As they were fighting the goat had eaten all the graham crackers and only one is left. Huck begins to narrate as every berry prepares for another fight before being interrupted by screaming. The episode ends with him eating a marshmallow and smiling.
