Lemon Drop is a supporting character in Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City. He is the father of Lemon Meringue.
General Information[]
Lemon Drop is Lemon Meringue's father, He was first introduced in Berry Bounty Banquet. He's the complete opposite to Lemon, as an outgoing man with no interest in inventing outside of supporting his daughter's interests. While friendly and nice, he is very clumsy and often embarrasses his daughter because of his oafishness. He speaks with a high-pitched and gravelly voice,
Appearance[]
Lemon Drop is a man with fair skin and a noticeable "dad bod". He has dark pale green eyes, and dark blonde wavy hair in a flattop style with a light blonde streak across his temples. He has the same nose as his daughter, a sort of c-shape that points upward, and his head shape is similar to Lemon Meringue's but with a longer face. He wears a tucked-in green button-up with front pockets on both sides. The sleeves are slightly rolled up from the wrist. He wears mustard yellow slacks with a white belt that has a yellow lemon-shaped buckle, and yellow work shoes with brown laces and soles. He wears a yellow watch with a blue screen and a brown band on his left wrist.
In Berry Bounty Bolt, Lemon Drop wears a silly turkey costume for the race that leaves his face exposed.
Personality[]
Lemon Drop is a kind and affectionate man, open to talking about feelings and being incredibly friendly to others.
He always tries to be there for his daughter, but his bumbling nature gets in the way. He can be a bit oblivious, as he rarely gets the hint that Meringue is embarrassed by how humiliating he acts. In Slumber Party at Lemon's, when Meringue tells him to stop bothering her and her friends during their slumber party, Lemon Drop is visibly sad at this and seems to finally realize that the way he acts makes his daughter embarrassed. When she finally decides to ask him for help, he immediately rushes back down with a party game already prepared, helping her and her friends still have fun even with the citywide blackout. While not explicitly shown, it's suggested that Lemon's grown more accepting of her father's quirks.
