Plot[]
Strawberry Shortcake strolls around the Berryworks until she hears Lime Chiffon disagreeing with Lemon Meringue about needing more juicers. Lemon tires to convince her with a new invention only for it to blow up which frustrates Lime. Strawberry questions how Lemon and Lime met despite both having contrasting views, which prompts Orange Blossom and Blueberry Muffin to share to her about how these two met. Blueberry tells Strawberry that prior to her joining the Berryworks, Lemon and Lime had different partners and separate carts.
Lime worked at the All-Time Lime Truck with a partner called Lime Tart. Lime Tart asks Lime Chiffon what she's doing and criticizes how Lime Chiffon didn't order the stacked lime pyramid from smallest to biggest and gets make a fuss about it, closing the truck until Lime Chiffon fixes it and walks off frustrated. Lime Chiffon looks at the limes disappointingly. While Lemon worked at the Lemonade Parade with Lemon Tort. Lemon Tort shows off an upgrade she added to their truck which makes it fly. Lemon Meringue is impressed but questions how the floating benefits the sales of the lemonade which Tort replied telling her who cares about the sales but to make the hovercraft with style. Strawberry gets even more confused and questions if what Blueberry is telling her is real because she doubts that it happened before she arrived. Orange confirms that it is real and let's Blueberry continue the flashback.
A customer approaches the All-Time Lime Truck ordering a lemonade which upsets Lime Tart, he corrects his order asking for a lemonade with a hint of lime and Lime Chiffon offers the customer to try a limeade but gets interrupted by Lime Tart dismissing the customer telling him that the cart is for lime aficionados only. The customer leaves and goes to the Lemonade Parade ordering a lemonade with Lemon Tort reaching for a hose splashing the customer away with lemonade telling him for a lemon upgrade. The screen shows Orange dancing and serving another customer orange juice. The flashback gets halted again by Strawberry asking Orange what she was wearing and she replies saying that she looked good back then and continues the flashback. Orange goes the Lemonade Parade truck asking if they can tone down their cart and Lemon Tort did not take that well. She gets angry that no one appreciates her genius in the Berryworks and quits, leaving the place with their truck. Meanwhile at the All-Time Lime truck, Lime Tart gets frustrated over not being able to work without rules and quits. Orange sees the two situations and says that Lemon Meringue and Lime Chiffon needs better business plans which gives Blueberry Muffin an idea, making the two partner up.
Lemon and Lime are both hesitant at first but after talking a bit about what they want they both agreed to partner up. The flashback ends and Lime complains about Lemon's inventions exploding. Lemon tells her that she never meant for any of them to explode and says that she wants to make the cart better. Lime understands and tells her that a stronger juicer would be more efficient but asks for it to be less explosive which Lemon agrees. They both complimented each other until Orange, Blueberry and Strawberry interrupts them by awing. Lime is confused and Strawberry happily tells Lemon that if she's lost, Lime will always be there for her.

- Lemon Meringue's retro outfit features yellow pants with polka dots, and green-and-white striped leg warmers. This is a nod to her original 1980s incarnation, who wore a yellow polka-dotted dress and green-and-white striped pants.

- The arcade cabinet that can be briefly seen during the flashback is a Pac-Man game. Pac-Man is a pie with a quarter slice removed, and the game itself seems to be a platform game rather than a maze. Pac-Man also appears to only eat fruit rather than pellets. If one listens closely, there is a faint approximation of the "waka-waka" sound that Pac-Man makes.
