Huckleberry Pie is one of Strawberry Shortcake's friends, who live, not surpirsingly, in a large Huckleberry Pie-shaped cabin, just down the road from Strawberry Shortcake's house. The obvious inspriation for his character was Mark Twain's literary creation Huckleberry Finn. Huck bore more than a passing resemblance to the more famous Huck Finn, from his straw hat and overalls to his tendencies towards fishing and general laziness. Huckleberry Pie was, for the most part, the sole boy character in a feamale-dominated franchise, a condition that prevails even into the 2003 reintroduction of the show. In the 1980's series, Huckleberry Pie was voiced by a female actress, Julie McWhirter. His pet is a dog named Pupcake.

Huckleberry Pie, also known as Huck, is a friend of Strawberry Shortcake (character) and is (so far) the only male protagonist in the show.

He is voiced by Daniel Canfield and James Street in the 2003 version.

Personality

Huck is a nice, gentle, kind, cool, and sweet boy who loves playing with his friends in Strawberry Land.

Huck's appearance changed by year one and like others, it never changed until year 4.

Huck wears a red cap forwards
He wears a green,short sleeved shirt with a horizontal white stripe in the middle

Nightwear

In 2003 version, Huck wears blue PJs with yellow stars.

Relationships

Huck is the only boy but is great friends with all the other kids in Strawberryland. He likes no one better than the other.

Filly

Huck's filly is Huckleberry Hash, but his filly did not appear in the cartoon series, only in the franchise. Huckleberry Hash is lilac with purple spots, a light blue mane and tail.
