Granola Crunch is a character in the Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City series. The character makes her debut in the episode of the same name and runs a community garden called the "Lean-Green Community Garden".
General[]
Granola runs the Lean-Green Garden in Big Apple City. She becomes enraged when she heard about Purple Pieman's proposal of demolishing the Lean-Green Garden to make way for a storage facility, so she protests in the Berryworks. Strawberry and her friends helps Granola revamp the Lean-Green Garden to prevent it from being demolished.
Appearance[]
Granola Crunch has a pale complexion with long, black twin braids. She has small green eyes.
She wears a light yellow shirt with green accents and a logo on it along with jean shorts. She has a green bandana wrapped around her head along with white socks and brown sandals.
Personality[]
Granola Crunch is an optimistic girl and knows a lot on the topic of gardening. However, she tends to get worried when people don't do exactly what she does when it comes to gardening and is scared of letting people help her because of it. After being encouraged by Strawberry, she allows her and her friends to revamp the garden.
Relationships[]
Because the Peculiar Purple Pieman wanted to destroy the Lean-Green Garden to make way for his pie storage facility, Granola Crunch has bad chemistry with the Purple Pieman, going as far as to rant to put a stop to the demolition plan. She and Strawberry Shortcake are on good terms, though, as Strawberry Shortcake, on top of being an opponent of the Peculiar Purple Pieman already, is in full support of saving the garden when she hears about the issue.
Trivia[]
- Etymology: Granola Crunch takes her name from the granola crunch snack.
