When her favourite band’s lead singer quits during a music festival, Strawberry Shortcake gives them the confidence they need to perform anyway!
Plot[]
The episode begins at night as Strawberry Shortcake and her friends have finished their song at the music festival and are now receiving praise.
Strawberry Shortcake then appears in a confessional, flashing her Berry Fairies poster and gushing over how she and the other girls and Huckleberry Pie have just opened up for Sherry Bobbleberry and the Berry Fairies. She is then seen leading the girls and Huckleberry Pie in the next scene, telling the others to follow her and play it cool, but she is interrupted when she hears a voice yelling after she tells her friends that the six of them are performers now. The owner of the voice is telling someone else that the latter is "all garbage" as some objects fly by and a rat runs past with a pizza in his mouth.
A transition reveals the commotion: Sherry Bobbleberry has just yelled at her bandmates, who were thinking that it would've been nice if she had accompanied them at rehearsal, but that just makes her angrier. Sherry claims that she doesn't need rehearsals and is too busy making her bandmates look good. An outraged Raisin Cane tells off Sherry for being mean, not rehearsing, and making the other three Berry Fairies do all the work. Sherry then decides that she is done and quits on her bandmates, only to bump into Strawberry Shortcake's group. Sherry immediately puts on a friendly façade, seemingly impressed that Strawberry Shortcake's group was opened up for the Berry Fairies. When Strawberry Shortcake confirms it, Sherry tells Strawberry Shortcake off for being off-key, storming off after she does so.
Deciding that the Berry Fairies no longer need Sherry Bobbleberry as their boss, Raisin Cane suggests that Cherry Jam can lead the group instead. Due to her confidence issues despite the fact that she writes the songs, Cherry Jam at first refuses. However, Strawberry Shortcake decides to motivate Cherry Jam by telling her that if you're scared, you just need to be yourself to make the world a better place (Strawberry Shortcake makes a pun by changing "make" to "bake."), but Raisin, Cherry, and Peppermint Fizz get confused by this, but Strawberry Shortcake is certain that Cherry can do it since she has Raisin and Fizz's support. Strawberry Shortcake reveals that she can do just about anything when she has her friends by her side. Peppermint Fizz agrees, and she and Strawberry Shortcake get proven right when Cherry Jam overcomes her issues and sings a great song with the help of her friends and Strawberry Shortcake's gang.
When the song concludes, Strawberry Shortcake tells the audience "For the first time anywhere, the Cherry Jam Band." Strawberry Shortcake and Cherry Jam hug to conclude the episode whilst Strawberry Shortcake commends how Cherry Jam found her voice.

- This is the second episode to feature the berry fairies. First being "Best New Year's EVER"
- This episode is a sequel to Music in Our Hearts. The song in this episode also contains a remix/reprise of the song from that episode near the end.
- Sherry Bobbleberry makes her third appearance here. The first time, she had a minor role in Best New Year's EVER and was seen on television, and the second time, she appeared in Music in Our Hearts listening to the Berry girls' and Huckleberry Pie's performance without the other band members. This episode is also the first to show her speaking.
- Additionally, the band's name appears to be changing to "The Cherry Jam Band" at the end as per Strawberry Shortcake's announcement.
- The scene where Cherry Jam is singing "Find Your Voice" can be seen around 9 seconds into the Season 2 trailer.
- Blueberry Muffin's mother and Orange Blossom's parents can be seen in the audience.
- This episode also marks their on-screen debut outside of a Thanksgiving-themed episode, though Orange Blossom's father was mentioned in The Big Foam Disaster! when she reveals the momentum mixer that her father uses at every Berry Bounty Banquet for his chunky gravy.
- This is the third episode where Strawberry and her friends are in their summer clothes. The first is "Ice Cream Trouble" while the second being "Beat The Heat".
- Unlike in the first two instances, Strawberry's shorts are pink instead of blue.
