In one last attempt to eliminate Strawberry Shortcake as a competitor to his pieshops, The Peculiar Purple Pieman tries to convince her to join forces with him under the guise of helping her achieve her baking dreams. Though hesitant at first, Strawberry is swayed by Pieman's words and agrees to his offer, unaware of his ulterior motives.
