- The title, and the premise of the episode, is a reference to the popular tabletop fantasy roleplaying game "Dungeons and Dragons", or "D&D". Huckleberry, Bread, and Plum are LARPing, or "LiveAction Role-Playing" in this episode, which is a variation of fantasy roleplaying where a group act out the story in-person.
- This is the second episode in the series to primarily focus on the male characters, with the previous being Deliveryberries, though this is the first to include Plum Pudding.
- This is the first episode where the Strawberry Shortcake lookalike character, AKA Bodybuilder Berry, gets to have a major role.
