Diana Kaarina Wong (March 17, 1975), is a Canadian voice actress and former Broadway actress of Finnish and Chinese descent. She is the current voice of Blueberry Muffin, the voice of Sour Grapes in Berry Bitty Adventures, and is the first woman of color to voice both characters, along with being one of the few returning actors in the franchise.
Biography[]
Diana Kaarina was born on March 17th, 1975, in Vancouver, British Columbia and was raised in Richmond.
She began her acting career in Canadian theater productions with Theater Under The Stars in Stanley Park, debuting in their production of "The Boyfriend". Diana went on to perform in many other musical productions, including the Broadway productions for "Les Miserables", "RENT", and "Thoroughly Modern Millie". Diana Kaarina also helped run the now-defunct Broadway Edge Studio, where she trained aspiring performers in acting, singing, and dancing.
Aside from theater, Diana is also a prolific voice actress. Her first role was as the English voice for Lychee in "Ranma 1/2: The Movie, Big Trouble in Nekonron, China". She since went on to voice Laugh-A-Lot Bear in "Care Bears: Adventures in Care-A-Lot", Barbie in several "Barbie" movies, Kelly in "SheZow", Aria Blaze and various other characters in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and "Equestria Girls", Vanessa in "The Hollow", Various characters in "Littlest Pet Shop", Spike in "Super Monsters", and Jordana in "Ninjago".
In 2015, Diana Kaarina became the voice for Sour Grapes in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures. She would be succeeded as the voice of Sour Grapes in 2018 by Laurie Hymes.
Diana returned to the franchise in 2021, becoming the voice for Blueberry Muffin in Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City.
