Strawberry Shortcake Wiki

Coco Nutwork is a minor character from Strawberry Shortcake franchise. The character made his debut and sole appearance in "Strawberry Shortcake In Big Apple City", the second special released for the original "1980s series. He is the vice president (and only employee) at the Little Theater off Times Pear.

General[]

Coco Nutwork is an energetic most likely middle aged man who runs his network alone, it is unknown why he has no employees. He works as an announcer, an audience guider, judge, camera man, and whatever other job he may need for his broadcast. He is shown changing his voice between jobs, as an announcer he has a deeper one but as a judge he has a higher one. He is also shown to be quick to change outfits, sometimes it works out better than others (example being when he wore the coat hanger with his coat as a judge, then quickly was able to cross dress quite well in a few seconds to show off the prize of the bake off).

Despite all of this work (or likely because of it) he doesn't seem very eager to keep his job with all of the stressors, wishing to join Strawberry in Strawberryland by the end of the episode. At the end of "Strawberry Shortcake in Big Apple City", Coco Nutwork decides to retire, but is reminded that the network literally cannot function without him. As such, Coco immediately promotes Purple Pieman to Vice President of the Little Theater as punishment for his evildoings.
