General[]
Carol Carol is a character briefly seen in Strawberry Shortcake: A Berry Merry Christmas. She lives in Christmas Town on Carol Lane where she runs a bell shop.
Appearance[]
She's a marionette-like woman with brown skin, black hair, a puppet-like mouth with red lipstick, and dark brown eyes. She wears a light and dark green dress decorated with white fur, a light green hat decorated with holly leaves, red shoes, a red belt, and two large jingle bell earrings. She's taller than Strawberry Shortcake and overall has a more mature appearance than most characters from the series.
Personality[]
Carol Carol, like many on carol lane, loves to sing. She sings everything she says and also appears to enjoy the sound of bells, hence her shop with seemingly nearly every type of bell one could think of. She overall comes off as sweet and as someone who loves her job, but due to her brief screen time she wasn't fleshed out.
Trivia[]
- Despite her bell shop's variety she doesn't have any bells good for horses, as shown when Honey Pie Pony repeatedly asks for different bells for her riding gear to no avail.
- She is one of two characters with a double name in this special, the first being Candy Candy Clerk.
- Her design is possibly based on holly berries due to the colors. This would also fit her singing theme, as in the christmas carol Deck The Halls the first lyric is "Deck the halls with boughs of holly"
- Her name is both the normal name Carol, a name meaning joyful song, and Carol as in singing.
- She is one of few adult characters from the 2003 era.
