Candy Corn is a character who made her debut as the main antagonist of the Strawberry Shortcake and the Beast of Berry Bog special. She helps her uncle, Crusty Muffin with his Fright Fall Fun Fair that has recently moved to Big Apple City this year.
General[]
Candy Corn and her uncle, Crusty Muffin has recently moved to Big Apple City to host their next Fright Fall Fun Fair for the Berryworks. She played the Corny the Cob mascot which she seemed to like playing as. When her uncle's fair gets destroyed, she works with the Berry Besties to find the culprit and they all find out that the myth of the Beast of Berry Bog was the culprit behind it. After word goes out that the fair has been attacked by the monster she gives up investigating.
It was revealed during the near end of the special that the Beast of Berry Bog was a robot and controlled by her. Who did this because she didn't like playing as Corny the Cob and being unable to talk about her true interests because of her petite appearance. She addresses this to her uncle after the events folded and now plays the Beast in its titular attraction, with Lemon Meringue being the new performer of the Corny the Cob mascot.
Appearance[]
Candy has a dark complexion with a short stature. She has short, black curly hair parted with a orange and yellow colored headband. She also has brown eyes. She wears a white, long sleeved shirt with frills on her sleeve lining under a brown and yellow overalls dress. Her legwear consists of long, white thigh high socks and yellow sneakers.
Personality[]
Candy Corn is a seemingly cute, shy, and worrisome girl in the beginning. She shows a love for her family and her friends that is genuine however. She's shown to be quite mechanically gifted, much like Lemon Meringue, building robots and higher-tech mascot suits for her endevours. At the end of the special she's revealed to be a lover of all things scary and gross and absolutely hates being seen as nothing more than just a cute kid.
Relationships[]
Crusty Muffin[]
Crusty Muffin is Candy Corn's uncle whom she loves very dearly. She wants him happy, and was so scared about his approval she couldn't tell him she didn't like being a cute mascot since she knew he loved her playing the role. After everything is sorted though we see he loves her a lot and all ends well.
Strawberry Shortcake[]
Strawberry and Candy bond over being country berries. Strawberry wishes to make Candy feel more comfortable in Big Apple City and does whatever she can to help make that happen. She also reasons with Candy at the end of the episode when Candy becomes angry with her and her friends.
Lemon Meringue[]
Lemon frequently compliments Candy's work, especially for her Beast of Berry Bog animatronic, which is something considering that Lemon is known to have a hard time opening up to people. She is willing to play Corny the Cob for Candy after hearing why she attacked her uncle's fair but we have not seen how Candy feels about Lemon.
