General Information[]
Butter Cookie is probably Strawberry Shortcake's youngest friend ever, a baby just learning to crawl. As such, she hasn't yet developed any interesting personality traits but is plenty adorable, nonetheless. Her pet is a yellow teddy called Jelly Bear shown to be just as alive as any of the other pets.
Appearance[]
As said above, Butter Cookie is a young baby and as said, dresses like one! She has pale-fair colored skin with small black button eyes. Usually, she can be seen smiling and either holding or eating a cookie. Her short, fluffy blonde hair is worn with a green stripe bonnet with a giant yellow flowery-shaped flap with a thin green ribbon. Butter's outfit is very simple and easy. It consists of a white baggy onesie for babies with a big yellow polka-dot print and a small green ribbon at the very tippy end. It has a drawstring to close the bottom, trapping her feet inside. The sleeves of the outfit are yellow.
Trivia[]
- Butter Cookie is the third character without a berry-themed name. The first is T.N. Honey, and the second is Angel Cake.
- Butter Cookie is the first baby with yellow and green theme coloring. The second and third would be the twins, Lem N Ada.
- She is currently the youngest Strawberry Shortcake character, being more infantile instead of toddler-like.
- Her only animated appearances are in "Pets on Parade" and "Housewarming Surprise".
- She is easily one of the most forgotten-about '80s characters due to her limited appearances.
- Similar to Apple Dumplin' in the '80s, she does not have any particular voice lines.
- In the 1980s comic "The Gobblin' Goblin" she's shown to say the word "love" and not be scared of the goblin, instead wanting to befriend it, showing a lack of fear much like Baby-needs-a-name does.
