Blueberry Muffin is one of Strawberry Shortcake's best friends and one of the core berry girls/children.
She was voiced by Joan Gerber, Susan Roman, and Susan Snooks.
Bio
Blueberry is a young southern girl who happens to be quite forgetful. She is nice and usually finds a way to make up for her loose memory. She has a pet mouse named Cheesecake, and lives in a blueberry muffin house.
Personality
Blueberry Muffin is a friendly young girl who loves to go out and play with her friends. But she appears to be airheaded, in that she is often distracted by things to the point of forgetting other things. Such as a friends name or plans she made, no matter how many times she is told. She is also a bit clumsy and clueless, but very well-meaning.
A bit motherly towards others, she seems to get along well with Apple Dumplin' and claims to be the only one who can read her writing, which seems to be the truth.
Appearance
Blueberry is a yellow-fair skinned child with black-blue eyes. She has blue hair worn in cheek length pigtails held with purple bows. She wears a dark blue cap with a bunch of blueberries attached to one side and a bright strap that ties beneath her chin.
For an outfit, Blueberry wears a blue dress on top of a pale blue diamond-pattern dress with long sleeves lined with white ruffles.She has the normal green and white stripe pantyhose and blue Maryjane shoes.
Blueberry does not look too different in the specials. In the first she had dark blue hair and instead of diamond patterns she had a dark blue dress under a light blue layer. In the second special the bottom of the dress became a one-piece and the sleeves turned powder blue. In each special her hair lightened.
Other outfits
- Night Gown: Long sleeved blue dress/top with a bib-like piece at the neck. The dress/shirt has slits on both sides near the bottom. On her head she wore a blue and white striped sleeping cap and like most of the berry girls, she wore green and white striped socks.
- During the final special, Blueberry wore a pale blue top with elbow-sleeves and a blue skirt with white on the bottom. Her socks were lilac and white, while her shoes were blue. On her head she wore a big blue bow, but she also had two small pink bows on her pigtails. At the end credits of the special her pigtails doubled in length.
Merchandise outfits
- A dark blue blouse and pair of pants with purple slippers and a pale blue dress-like piece on top of the outfit. Her hair has been pulled up somewhat into a braid on the side held with a bow.
- Blue plaid top with dark blue princess-puff sleeves and skirt. Her socks are green and white striped and worn with blue tennis shoes. Her pigtails have been pulled into high-pigtails with a plaid bandana and blue hairbows.
