Ana Sani (September 14, 1991), is a Canadian actress, voice actress, and writer of Indian descent. She is the current voice of Strawberry Shortcake, and the first woman of color to voice the character.
Biography[]
Ana Sani was born on September 14th, 1991.
She began her acting career in short films, with her first-ever role being in the 2011 horror/thriller short film "Survival", as the lead character, Amy. One of her most well-known live-action roles is as recurring character Anika in 2019's "The Boys".
In 2014, Ana Sani began doing voice acting, debuting as the English dub voice of Red Riding Hood in the German animated comedy-musical "The Seventh Dwarf". Since then, Ana has gone on to become a regular in Toronto voice casts, lending her voice to many different series such as Piper Willowbrook in "Mysticons", Mitsuba in "Dragalia Lost", Cleo Badette in "Ollie's Pack", Sugar Snap in "My Little Pony: Pony Life", Robin in "Angry Birds: Summer Madness", Crystal Blue in "Bakugan Battle Planet", and Izzy Moonbow in "My Little Pony (Generation 5)".
In 2021 Ana Sani became the voice of Strawberry Shortcake in Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City.
As well as acting, Ana Sani has contributed as a writer from time to time, with her most recent contribution being as the writer for the episode Strawberry's Perfect Present in Season 3 of Berry in the Big City.
