Plot[]
Strawberry Shortcake has trouble deciding between two flavors, chocolate and cinnamon. Strawberry hesitates on choosing chocolate because she thinks that "she" finds chocolate too expected. Strawberry tells the audience who she was referring to, Poppy Corn. A big photographer, film maker and social media star in Big Apple City has ordered a cake to be made by Strawberry. She also tells them that her ordering from Strawberry can be a huge boost in her career because when Poppy likes something she'll tell her fans that she likes it but when she doesn't she'll criticize it and not recommend it. She worries and asks her friends if she should decline Poppy's order and Orange tells her not to. Lime checks on the celebrity's social media and tells Strawberry what Poppy likes and then notices a post about a contest to win Poppy's new book and she signs up, getting distracted. Lemon offers to help Strawberry with the precision part by giving Strawberry an invention called the "Lend-A-Hand 5000" and goes to her cart to get the machine. Orange advices Strawberry to stay focused and tells her to take a deep breath in , stand straight and breathe out. Strawberry is still nervous because she has never doubted herself this much and wishes to know what she is doing.
Blueberry offers to help Strawberry by palm reading, with a lot of wind blowing on Lime and Orange and Lime pushes the huge fan away. Strawberry is not impressed by Blueberry's offer. Lime informs Strawberry about palm reading and how you can learn a lot about the lines on your hands and Blueberry grabs Lime's hand and says the word book. She thinks that Blueberry has read her hand wrong but Blueberry proves it by the lines on her hand. Lime is still skeptical about it and receives a notification telling her that she won Poppy's book contest and realizes that Blueberry is correct, but still tells her that it's a coincidence. Strawberry watches and Orange asks Blueberry to read hers. Blueberry tells her that her palms read "gold" and Orange gets enjoyed knowing that she always wins medals. Lemon arrives and shows off the Lend-A-Hand 5000 and Blueberry rushes to read Lemon's palm and tells her palm reads boom, Lemon is confused as she's unaware of the palm reading that Blueberry is doing and her invention explodes.
Strawberry is convinced by the palm reading and asks for Blueberry to read hers and she takes a while to read her palm. Only to tell her the word stop. Strawberry is disappointed and wonders what it meant. Her friends try to think about what it meant and Lemon points out that Blueberry was right about the Lend-A-Hand exploding and Lime tells her it's because her inventions always explode, the fact that she loves books but doesn't understand what Orange's mean and Orange asks Blueberry what she thinks. She replies saying that it doesn't matter what she thinks, but what Strawberry thinks about it. Strawberry notices that the other three girl's reading made sense and thinks that her reading is about quitting baking. Blueberry asks Strawberry if this is what she really thinks and Strawberry tells her that she want to know the right thing to do in the order so she could stop doubting herself and realizes what her palm reading actually meant.
She leaps into her truck and starts baking a cake, a chocolate cake. Orange realizes that it's chocolate. Strawberry tells the audience that even though she doesn't know if palm reading is real, Blueberry helped her realize that she should stop doubting herself and to trust her own instincts. She also updates the audience about Poppy's review. Poppy loved the cake. Blueberry is glad about Strawberry managing to work out her problems, but Lime still thinks Blueberry isn't right about palm reading and is still confused about what she meant by gold from Orange's read. A construction worker yells for the girls to look out for a falling gold paint bucket, all the girls managed to avoid it but Orange gets dumped with paint. The episode ends with Orange realizing she's covered in gold.
